Azure provides many tools for managing your cloud resources. One of the little know ones is called resource policies. Resource policies allow us to put conditions in place that control what happens when resources are being created.
With resource policies you can:
- Establish conventions for resource names
- Control the types of resources that can be created in a resource group or a subscription
- Automatically attach setting and properties to resources
- Establish allowed data centers
- And many more
As usual, any comments or discussions are welcome.
