DevReach strives to be the premier developer conference in Central and Eastern Europe. It’s been around since 2006 attracting IT professionals engaged or interested in application development. Our very own Milan Nankov, Co-founder and CTO at New Venture Software, will be delivering a session on “Going serverless with Azure Functions”. He’ll delve into what Azure Functions are and how they can be leveraged to create more responsive, cost-effective and scalable apps. Milan will also discuss Queue storage as it often goes hand in hand with Azure Functions and event-based architectures.
If you are planning to attend DevReach, don’t miss out on Milan’s session! It starts Tuesday, November 14, at 2:30pm and is part of track 2 of the conference schedule.
EMEA PUG Challenge, Prague, Czech Republic (November 15-17)
Another major Progress event will be taking place right after DevReach in Prague, Czech Republic. The EMEA Progress User Group Challenge is an annual conference for all Progress customers, application partners and end users alike. It’s a very dynamic event as it accommodates hands-on programmers’ challenges and workshops alongside the session tracks.
New Venture Software’s Senior Software Engineer and Consultant Denis Kyashif will be delivering two sessions at this year’s conference. Denis is a Kendo UI and Progress Sitefinity-certified developer with a deep understanding of the building blocks of these two products. His sessions will focus on:
Understanding Kendo UI for jQuery - Friday, November 17, 10:15 - 11:15am, Track Prague
Kendo UI provides a complete toolbox for building rich, dynamic and functional Web and Mobile UIs. Denis will discuss the main product features like the UI Widgets, Data Binding, HTML templates and the MVVM Framework for creating Single-Page Apps. Following the founding engineering concepts of the framework, he’ll dig deeper to explain how Kendo UI works and how to make the best of it.
A busy month is ahead of us! Mark your calendars as DevReach and the EMEA PUG Challenge will be definitely worth attending!
